About this course

Bachelor of Science in Physics with Medical Physics, a physics degree focused on the principles of physics and their application to medical technology. Core topics include Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students complete a final-year project alongside core laboratory and computing work. The first year covers foundational principles through Statistics, Thermodynamics, and Electronics, Classical Mechanics and Relativity, and Mathematics for Physicists 1. The second year progresses with Statistical Physics and Optics, Modern Physics, and Medical Physics Laboratory. The final year allows students to select from modules such as Particle Physics, Nuclear Physics and Nuclear Power, Stars and Exoplanets, and Gravitation, Cosmology and Galaxies, while also undertaking the Year 3 Physics Project.
