About this course
Master in Science in Physics, a physics degree exploring the fundamental laws of the universe. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. This four-year undergraduate course includes independent project work in both the third and fourth years. The first year introduces foundational concepts through compulsory modules such as Classical Mechanics and Relativity, Mathematics for Physicists 1, and Physics Laboratory 1. The second year continues with core studies including Mathematics for Physicists 2, Statistical Physics and Optics, and Physics Laboratory 2. In the third year, students undertake the Year 3 Physics Project alongside compulsory work in Laboratory and Computing and Quantum Mechanics and Statistical Physics. The final fourth year centers on the Year 4 Physics Project and advanced optional studies covering areas such as Advanced Condensed Matter, Advanced Particle Physics, and General Relativity and Advanced Statistical Physics.
