About this course
Bachelor of Arts in Policy, Politics and Economics, a social policy and economics and politics and international relations degree. Core topics include Data Analysis and Research Methods. The course spans three years of integrated study across three distinct disciplines. The first year covers foundational concepts through Economics Principles and Methods 1, Understanding Politics, Discovering Social Policy, and Social Research I (PPE). The second year builds competence with modules such as Comparative Politics, Global Challenges: Perspectives from Policy, Politics and Economics, Social Research II, and Macroeconomics: Theory and Applications. The final year allows students to pursue advanced study and independent research through the Social Policy, Sociology and Criminology Dissertation, alongside options like Crime and the City, Health Economics, and Contemporary International Political Economy.
