Entry requirements
A Level: AAA To include Chemistry / Biology / Human Biology / Physics / Psychology / Maths / Further Maths / Statistics. IB: 6,6,6 at Higher Level with a minimum of 32 points overall. BTEC: BTEC Extended Diploma, Diploma and Extended Certificate are accepted but subjects are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for further guidance.
About this course
Bachelor of Science in Psychology with Year Abroad, a psychology degree exploring diverse topics complemented by a transformative year abroad. Core topics include Research Methods. The course holds British Psychological Society accreditation and includes a dedicated study abroad period in the third year. The first year introduces foundational concepts through Cognitive Psychology, Introduction to Psychobiology: From Ion Channels to Behaviour, Lifespan Psychology A: Introduction to Developmental Psychology, and Ideas, Concepts, and Ethics in Psychology and Neuroscience. The second year advances learning with Language and Communication, Neural Basis of Vision and Action, Social and Cognitive Development, and Topics in Social and Differential Psychology. The third year is spent abroad undertaking the Psychology Study Abroad Module.
