Entry requirements
A Level: AAB - ABB dependent on the number of preferred science subjects included. IB: 6,6,5 - 6,5,5 in Higher level subjects plus 32 points overall, dependent on the number of preferred subjects as defined for the A-level qualification.. BTEC: BTEC Extended Diploma in science related subject will be considered. BTEC Diploma accepted in combination with an A level. BTEC Subsidiary Diploma accepted in combination with two A levels.
About this course
Bachelor of Science in Sport Sciences with Business BSc, a sport sciences with business BSc degree focused on the scientific and commercial aspects of athletic performance. Core topics include Research Methods, Accounting, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Students complete a final-year project or professional dissertation as part of the three-year undergraduate programme. The first year covers the foundations through Discover Sport Science and Business, Principles of Business and Business Models, Principles of Accounting and Finance, and Human Physiology and Exercise. The second year builds professional competencies through modules such as Applied Exercise Physiology, Event Management and Marketing in Sport, Principles of Marketing, and Managing Organisations and People. The final year allows specialisation through options including Athletic Training and Conditioning, Nutrition for Performance, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Strategy and International Business, alongside a compulsory Project and Professional Dissertation.
