Entry requirements
For 2027 entry: 112–128 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades BBC–ABB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DMM–DDM) and T Levels (Merit).
About this course
BA (Hons) in Film Studies, combining film with the study of media and communication. Core topics include Research Methods, Critical & Analytical Thinking, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The course offers a 3-year route with a 4-week placement or a 4-year route with a minimum 30-week placement, and students complete a dissertation involving original independent research. 95% of graduates are in work or further study within 15 months.
