Entry requirements
For September 2026 and September 2027 entry: 112–128 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades BBC–ABB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DMM–DDM) and T Levels (Merit).
About this course
BA (Hons) in Film Studies. Core topics include Research Methods and Design & Creative Practice. An optional 30-week industry placement is available, with placement hosts including the BBC, Sky, and Warner Bros. The final-year Launchpad Project involves collaborative production of a film or television programme, and campus TV studios are built to BBC and ITV technical specification.
