Entry requirements
For 2027 entry: 112–128 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades BBC–ABB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DMM–DDM) and T Levels (Merit).
About this course
BA (Hons) in Journalism, Media and Culture. Core topics include Research Methods. The course is available as a 3-year programme with a 4-week placement or a 4-year programme with a 30-week placement. The university has an official partnership with AFC Bournemouth, and students produce their own BUzz website, Nerve magazine, and campus radio station, with a Sports Journalism Dissertation available in the final year.
