Entry requirements
For 2027 entry: 112–128 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades BBC–ABB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DMM–DDM) and T Levels (Merit).
About this course
BA (Hons) in Social Work, combining academic study with practical placement experience. Core topics include Ethics & Professional Practice and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The course includes mandatory placements in the second and third years, and culminates in a final-year literature review. Service users and carers are involved in teaching through the Public Involvement in Education and Research (PIER) partnership.
