Entry requirements

For September 2026 and September 2027 entry: This course requires 120–128 UCAS tariff points (A-levels grades BBB –ABB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels in required subjects or equivalent. Required subjects: mathematics and a science or technology subject. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DMM) and T Levels (Merit).

About this course

BEng (Hons) in Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering. Core topics include control systems, signal processing, artificial intelligence and machine learning, systems design, mathematical modelling, and programming. The course includes a minimum 30-week industry placement and culminates in an individual engineering project. Students exhibit their work at the Festival of Design & Engineering.
