Entry requirements
For 2027 entry: 112–128 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades BBC–ABB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DMM–DDM) and T Levels (Merit).
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Biological Sciences, combining biology, chemistry, psychology and mathematics. Core topics include data analysis, statistics, laboratory techniques, research methods, fieldwork, and ethics and professional practice. Students may opt to complete a 30-week industry placement, extending the degree to four years. The course culminates in an independent research project carried out on a topic chosen by the student.
