Entry requirements

For 2027 entry: 112–128 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades BBC–ABB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DMM–DDM) and T Levels (Merit).

About this course

BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology, studying marine organisms and their environments. Core topics include Fieldwork, Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Communication & Writing, and Human Behaviour. The course includes a 2-week placement in the first year, a 4-week placement in the second year, or a 30-week sandwich placement year. Optional international field trips and a wide range of option units are available.
