Entry requirements

For September 2027 entry: This course requires 128–144 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades ABB-AAA) to include a minimum of two A-levels or equivalent, including 32 points in a required subject. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grades DDM-DDD) and T Levels (Merit).

About this course

BSc (Hons) in Midwifery, covering pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period. Core topics include clinical skills, ethics and professional practice, data analysis, statistics and critical and analytical thinking. The course includes mandatory placements in community and hospital settings, and students have access to simulation facilities including a birthing suite. A foundation year option is available for students who do not meet standard entry requirements.
