Entry requirements
For September 2026: 120–136 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades BBB–AAB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DDM) and T Levels (Merit). About this course
MEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering. Core topics include Programming, Control Systems, Computer Architecture, Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Design, and Systems Design. The course includes a minimum 30-week industry placement and an individual Engineering Project. Students also complete an Interdisciplinary Group Project and exhibit work at the Festival of Design & Engineering.
