MSci Computer Science (Software Engineering)
Entry requirements
For 2027 entry: 112–128 UCAS tariff points (A-level grades BBC–ABB) including a minimum of 2 A-levels or equivalent qualifications. We also accept a wide range of vocational qualifications including BTEC Extended Diploma (grade DMM–DDM) and T Levels (Merit).
About this course
MSci in Computer Science. Core topics include Programming, Data Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The programme includes optional specialist units such as computational modelling and quantum computing. A team-based Master's project is undertaken in the final year with industry and academic collaborators, and the five-year route incorporates a minimum 30-week placement.
