Entry requirements

A level: A*AA including A*A (in any order) in Mathematics and a science-related subject. Science-related subjects include: Biology; Chemistry; Computer Science; Further Mathematics; Geography; Geology; Physics; Electronics; and Design & Technology (Product Design or Design Engineering). IB: 38 points overall with 18 at Higher Level, including 7, 6 (in any order) at Higher Level in Mathematics (either Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretations) and a science-related subject. Science-related subjects include: Biology; Chemistry; Computer Science; Further Mathematics; Geography; Geology; Physics; Electronics; and Design & Technology (Product Design or Design Engineering). BTEC: D*DD in either Engineering BTEC National Level 3 Extended Diploma, plus A in Mathematics at A-level (or equivalent), or in Applied Science BTEC National Level 3 Extended Diploma, plus A in Mathematics at A-level (or equivalent). About this course

BEng Civil Engineering, a civil engineering degree centred on sustainable structure design and infrastructure development. The course is accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institution of Highways and Transportation, Permanent Way Institution, and Institute of Highway Engineers. Students access advanced laboratory facilities, including an earthquake shaking table, and complete a major individual research project in the final year.
