About this course
BSc in Childhood Studies with Study Abroad, a social work degree focusing on children and adolescents from birth to 19 years in national and international contexts. This four-year course includes a year spent studying at an overseas partner institution during the third year. The course covers various aspects of childhood through compulsory and optional study. Representative modules include Child and Adolescent Psychology, Youth, Sexualities and Gendered Violence, Education, Schooling and Diversity, Therapeutic Work with Children, Disability in Society, Children in a Global Context, Children and Social Harm, and Youth Justice. Students complete a dissertation in the final year.
