About this course
BSc in BSc Economics, an economics degree centred on technical training in economic theory and quantitative methods. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Financial Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The programme is accredited by CIMA and includes an economics dissertation in the final year. The course covers foundational economic theory and quantitative techniques through compulsory modules including macroeconomics, microeconomics, mathematics, statistics, and econometrics. Students then progress to more advanced applied studies and specialized topics. Optional modules let students tailor their studies through subjects such as behavioural economics, data science, corporate finance, development economics, environmental economics, international trade, gender, race and identity in economics, and machine learning.
