About this course
BSc Mathematics and Computer Science, a joint honours degree in mathematics and computer science, merges the fundamentals of both disciplines into a unified mathematical and applied scientific framework. The course builds a strong mathematical foundation, enabling students to approach computer science through logic and abstraction rather than solely as engineering, preparing them to contribute across areas from pure mathematics to applied computer science. Students study artificial intelligence and machine learning from both mathematical and applied perspectives to develop expertise in these evolving fields.
