About this course

BSc in Pharmacology, a pharmacology degree focused on the action of drugs and chemicals on the functioning of the body. The first year covers core principles of how the body works and how drugs interact with cells, while the second year explores drug usage across various disorders. The final year centres on molecular mechanisms of drug action and includes a research project involving lab-based, computational, literature review, or teaching formats. Students can also choose optional units in the first two years spanning biochemistry, molecular genetics, infection and immunity, cellular and molecular medicine, and mammalian physiology.
