Entry requirements
A level: A*AA including A*A (in any order) in Mathematics and a science-related subject. Science-related subjects include: Biology; Chemistry; Computer Science; Further Mathematics; Geography; Geology; Physics; Electronics; and Design & Technology (Product Design or Design Engineering). IB: 38 points overall with 18 at Higher Level, including 7, 6 (in any order) at Higher Level in Mathematics (either Analysis and Approaches or Applications and Interpretations) and a science-related subject. Science-related subjects include: Biology; Chemistry; Computer Science; Further Mathematics; Geography; Geology; Physics; Electronics; and Design & Technology (Product Design or Design Engineering). BTEC: D*DD in either Engineering BTEC National Level 3 Extended Diploma, plus A in Mathematics at A-level (or equivalent), or in Applied Science BTEC National Level 3 Extended Diploma, plus A in Mathematics at A-level (or equivalent). About this course
MEng in Civil Engineering, a civil engineering degree focused on the design of sustainable structures and infrastructure systems. The curriculum combines theoretical instruction with practical applications in areas such as structures, soil and fluid mechanics, and engineering mathematics. Students complete a major individual research project in the third year and a group design project in the fourth year. The degree holds professional accreditation from the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, the Institute of Highway Engineers, and the Permanent Way Institution.
