About this course
MEng in Design Engineering with a Year in Industry, an engineering degree centered on product development and industrial applications. The programme includes a compulsory industry placement year in the third year of study, alongside a group-based design project carried out in partnership with industry and an individual research project in the final year. Students transfer onto this route from the standard MEng Design Engineering following successful academic performance and a placement interview. Advanced technical units from various engineering disciplines can be studied during the later stages of the course.
