MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a Year in Industry
About this course
MEng in MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering with a Year in Industry, an electrical and electronic engineering degree exploring major technological developments and industrial applications. The course includes an industrial placement year taken during the third year of study, and holds accreditation from IET. Students can transfer onto this route during the second year subject to academic performance and an interview process. Years one and two establish foundations in mathematics, computing, analogue and digital electronics, communications, electromagnetics, electronic systems, and control. Year four features a group design project alongside specialist units across electrical, electronic, and communication topics. The final fifth year involves an individual project and a selection of optional taught units.
