Entry requirements
A level: AAA including Chemistry and another core science/mathematics subject. Core science/mathematics subjects include: Biology, Further Mathematics, Human Biology, Mathematics and Physics. IB: 36 points overall with 18 at Higher Level, including 6 at Higher Level in Chemistry and 6 at Higher Level in another core science/mathematics subject. About this course
MSci in Biochemistry, a biochemistry degree focused on the molecular basis of life, human health, disease, and applied sciences such as drug discovery and biotechnology. The first two years of the MSci are identical to the BSc programmes, and students participate in a laboratory-based research training unit in the third year. The course includes an extended individual research project lasting up to 16 weeks under academic supervision.
