About this course
MSci in Biochemistry with Medical Biochemistry, a biochemistry degree focused on the molecular basis of life and human health. The first two years are shared with the BSc programmes, while the third year concentrates on medically relevant aspects including cancer and cardiovascular disease. The course features a laboratory-based research training unit, an extended individual research project lasting up to 16 weeks under the supervision of a research group leader, and a final-year module examining the wider context of scientific research.
