Entry requirements

A level: ABB including Maths and one of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Environment Studies, Computer Science, Electronics or Design and Technology (Use of Maths, Mathematical Studies, Critical Thinking and General Studies not accepted) IB: International Baccalaureate Diploma 31 points, including 5 in Higher Level Maths (Analysis and Approaches) and Higher Level 5 in one of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Geography or Design Technology

About this course

BEng (Hons) in Aerospace Engineering, covering aircraft design, structures, and propulsion systems. Core topics include Control Systems, Programming, Data Analysis, Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Design, and Project Management. The programme is accredited by the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE). A placement year in the aerospace industry is available, and transfer to the MEng route is possible at the end of the second year.
