A level: ABB including grade B in one of the following: Biology, Human Biology, Chemistry or Physics IB: International Baccalaureate Diploma 31 points including a minimum of 5 in Higher Level Biology, Chemistry or Physics. GCSE English equivalent SL 5 or HL 4 and Mathematics SL 2 or HL 2
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry, exploring the chemical principles underlying biological systems and disease. Core topics include Data Analysis, Research Methods, and Critical and Analytical Thinking. The programme holds accreditation from the Institute of Biomedical Science and the Royal Society of Biology. An optional fourth year provides a professional placement in a clinical, research, or industry setting, and the degree culminates in an independent final-year project.
