Entry requirements
A level: ABB including Maths and one of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Geology, Environmental Science, Environment Studies, Computer Science, Electronics or Design and Technology (Use of Maths, Mathematical Studies, Critical Thinking and General Studies not accepted) IB: International Baccalaureate Diploma 31 points, including 5 in Higher Level Maths (Analysis and Approaches) and Higher Level 5 in one of the following subjects; Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Geography or Design Technology
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Design, and Data Analysis. The course is professionally accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers and can be studied over three or four years, with an optional placement year in sectors such as energy and pharmaceuticals. Students undertake an individual design project in their final year, with an annual showcase event for presenting work to industry.
