About this course

BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering. Core topics include mathematical modelling, environmental analysis, engineering design, programming, and project management. The programme starts with a shared first year across engineering disciplines before specialising in civil engineering from Year 2. Students may complete a placement year between Years 2 and 3, and select specialist pathways in environmental engineering or flood and coastal engineering in the final year.
