Entry requirements
A level: BBB including one of the following subjects; Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Electronics or Design and Technology (Use of Maths, Critical Thinking, Mathematical Studies and General Studies not accepted) IB: International Baccalaureate Diploma 31 points, including 5 in one of the following Higher Level subjects; Maths ( Analysis and Approaches) / Maths (Applications and Interpretation), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, Design Technology
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, covering both hardware and software for computer systems. Core topics include Programming, Systems Design, Computer Architecture, Embedded Systems, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and meets the educational requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) registration. A placement year in industry is available as an option within the four-year full-time route.
