About this course
BA (Hons) in English, covering literature from medieval to contemporary periods. Core topics include research methods, critical and analytical thinking, and design and creative practice. A placement year in the creative industries is available as a four-year option. In their final year, students complete an independent 9,500-word dissertation on a topic of their choice.
