A level: ABB including Maths or Further Maths IB: International Baccalaureate Diploma 31 points including HL 5 in Maths (AA or AI). GCSE English equivalent SL 5 or HL 4 and Mathematics SL 2 or HL 2
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Mathematics, developing skills across pure and applied mathematics, statistics, and mathematical modelling. Core topics include programming, data analysis, statistics, mathematical modelling, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. The programme offers a four-year professional placement option and meets the educational requirements of the Chartered Mathematician designation awarded by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications. In the final year, students undertake an independent project on a topic of their choosing.
