About this course
BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, covering the design, development and manufacture of mechanical systems. Core topics include programming, control systems, data analysis, mathematical modelling, engineering design, and artificial intelligence. The programme is accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and offers an optional placement year between the second and final years. A major individual project allows students to investigate a defined problem within their chosen specialism.
