About this course
BSc (Hons) in Sociology, covering the study of societies, social structures and how people live within them. Core topics include Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Policy Analysis, Historical Research, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The course culminates in a dissertation in which students design and carry out an independent research project. A placement year is available between the second and final years of study.
