A level: BBC IB: 29 Points BTEC: DMM Access to HE: 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits 112 UCAS tariff points. Please note: You will need a numerate subject at Level 3 (e.g Maths, Physics, Computer Science) and five GCSEs level 4/C or above including English, Maths, and Science to study this course.
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering, combining structural and architectural engineering principles. Core topics include Engineering Design, Project Management, Programming, and Research Methods. The course covers structural dynamics, building services including HVAC, material science, and finite element analysis through modelling and simulation modules. An individual Engineering Project is undertaken in the final year, and the programme integrates the CDIO (Conceive, Develop, Implement, Operate) framework across several modules.
