A level: BBC IB: 29 Points BTEC: DMM Access to HE: 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits 112 UCAS tariff points. Please note: To study this course you also need a numerate subject at Level 3 (e.g Maths, Physics Computer Science) and 5 GCSEs Grade 4/C or above including English, Maths and Science.
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering, integrating engineering principles with healthcare technology. Core topics include Programming, Computer Architecture, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Engineering Design, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The course follows the MIT-developed CDIO (Conceive, Develop, Implement, Operate) framework and includes the option of a placement year in industry or study abroad. An individual Engineering Project in the final year draws on industry-sourced challenges.
