About this course
BEng (Hons) in Biomedical Engineering, combining engineering principles with human healthcare technology. Core topics include programming, computer architecture, control systems, mathematical modelling, and artificial intelligence and machine learning. The course includes a foundation year for students without standard level three entry requirements, and features industry-sourced projects using the CDIO (Conceive, Develop, Implement, Operate) framework. A final-year individual engineering project focuses on real-world biomedical challenges.
