BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science. Core topics include Laboratory Techniques, Clinical Skills, Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, and Ethics & Professional Practice. Accredited by the Institute of Biomedical Science (IBMS), the course covers clinical specialisms including blood science, microbiology, pathology, and genetics. A final-year Applied Science Major Project involves working within an active research group, and an optional industry placement year or year abroad is available.
