A level: BBC IB: 29 Points BTEC: DMM Access to HE: 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits 112 UCAS tariff points. Please note: You need a numerate subject at Level 3 (e.g Maths, Physics Computer Science) and 5 GCSE’s including Maths, English Language and Science at a grade 4 or above to study this course.
About this course
BEng (Hons) in Chemical Engineering. Core topics include Mathematical Modelling, Control Systems, Programming, Engineering Design, Project Management, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The course follows the MIT-developed CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) framework, with industry-based group projects integrated across several modules. Students can undertake a year in industry or year abroad.
