Entry requirements

A level: BBC IB: 29 Points BTEC: DMM Access to HE: 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits 112 UCAS tariff points. Additional entry requirements We also accept a Dental Nurse diploma Level 3, plus additional Level 4 dental qualifications. GCSE English Language and mathematics grades C/4 or Functional Skills Level 2 are also accepted. Please note: This course is available to UK (Home) students only. Your health interview and DBS Offers of a place can only be made after a successful interview and are subject to a satisfactory reference, health clearance and Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Health clearance will include vaccinations for NHS placements, and evidence of vaccination status may be required by placement providers or the university. About this course

BSc (Hons) in Dentistry, combining dental hygiene and dental therapy. Core topics include Clinical Skills, Research Methods, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Statistics. The programme includes supervised clinical placements in primary care and community settings, and culminates in an independent Major Project. The course is provisionally accepted by the General Dental Council, with registration eligibility subject to approval.
