Entry requirements
A level: BBC IB: 29 Points BTEC: DMM Access to HE: 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits 112 UCAS tariff points. Additional requirements GCSE English or IELTS equivalent, GCSE Maths, and ideally at least two grade C (or equivalent) at A level preferably in two of the following subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Geography.
About this course
BSc (Hons) in Geography, covering human and physical dimensions of the discipline. Core topics include Statistics, Research Methods, Fieldwork, and Environmental Analysis. A week-long residential field trip is included in the first year, and the course offers the option to undertake a year in industry or year abroad. The final-year Applied Science Major Project is completed within a research group under academic supervision.
