A level: BBC IB: 29 Points BTEC: DMM Access to HE: 15 Distinctions and 30 Merits 112 UCAS tariff points. Please note: You will need a numerate subject at Level 3 (e.g maths, physics, or computer science) and five GCSEs Grade 4/C or above including English, maths, and science to study this course.
About this course
BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering. Core topics include Engineering Design, Control Systems, Mathematical Modelling, Programming, and Statistics. The course follows the CDIO (Conceive-Design-Implement-Operate) framework, with group-based projects developed in partnership with industry. An optional year in industry or year abroad is available, and an individual engineering project is completed in the final year.
