About this course

BEng (Hons) Software Engineering, a four-year course that includes a foundation year to build prerequisite knowledge before progressing to the full Honours degree. Core topics include Programming, Computer Architecture, Data Analysis, Statistics, Research Methods, Ethics & Professional Practice, and Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The course applies the CDIO (Conceive, Design, Implement, Operate) engineering framework, incorporates group projects with real clients, and culminates in a Computing Major Project.
