About this course

A BN in Bachelor of Nursing (Child), training students to provide family-centred care to children and adolescents. Core topics include critical and analytical thinking. The programme is validated by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and leads to eligibility to register as a Children's Nurse on successful completion. Fifty per cent of the programme is practice learning with placements in hospitals and community settings across Wales, and students share learning with those studying adult and mental health nursing.
