About this course
BSc (Hons) in Archaeology, combining archaeological study with forensic investigation. Core topics include Research Methods, Fieldwork, Project Management, Communication & Writing, and Ethics & Professional Practice. The course includes a field school providing hands-on experience in excavation and laboratory analysis, and an optional year in industry placement with organisations such as commercial archaeological units and heritage organisations. Students complete an independent dissertation in the final year, designed and executed on a topic of their choice.
