About this course

BA (Hons) Politics and International Relations, studied jointly with History as a combined honours degree. Core topics include policy analysis, research methods, data analysis, historical research, global and comparative perspective, and communication and writing. Students study a shared first year covering globalisation, political ideas, and historical method before specialising in later years. An optional work placement of four to seven weeks is available through the School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
