About this course
BA (Hons) in Film Studies, combining media analysis with practical production. Core topics include Research Methods, Project Management, Communication & Writing, Critical & Analytical Thinking, Design & Creative Practice, and Ethics & Professional Practice. A 140-hour work placement is available, and students produce content for Chester Student Media and Chester Student Radio. The final year includes a large-scale project such as a documentary, short film, or written dissertation.
