About this course

BA (Hons) in English with Creative Writing, combining literary study with creative writing practice. Core topics include Research Methods and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The course offers specialisation in creative writing disciplines such as fiction, screenplays, and creative non-fiction. A Final Major Project in screenwriting allows students to produce a feature film script, TV script, or games pitch package, and a work placement module provides practical experience in an external organisation.
