About this course
BSc (Hons) in Sport and Exercise Science, combining the study of coaching, performance analysis, and athletic development in football. Core topics include Data Analysis, Research Methods, and Project Management. In the second year, students undertake a placement in a local coaching context such as a club, university or school, and have the opportunity to travel to Barcelona to explore coaching delivery practices from community level through to the La Masia academy. The course includes an independent research project in the final year, applying knowledge to an in-depth study of a question relating to sport, exercise or healthcare.
