Entry requirements
A level: ABB to include one from Psychology, Sociology, Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Sport Science, Health and Social Care. Excludes General Studies. IB: 30 points to include 15 points at Higher level.
About this course
BSc in Midwifery. Core topics include Clinical Skills, Policy Analysis, Ethics & Professional Practice, Global & Comparative Perspective, and Critical & Analytical Thinking. The programme integrates six clinical placements alongside academic study, with fifty percent of learning taking place in practice-based settings. Successful completion meets the requirements for registration as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
